URGENT: BUDGET HEARING NEWS
Howard County Council Public Hearing on proposed Capital and Operating Budget on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. The proposed budget is well below the Superintendent’s request and the minimal needed to cover basic expenses; leading to increased class sizes. The county PTAs are encouraging our members to “make your voices heard”. Demand that the council raises the proposed budget to fully fund our school system. To testify in person, sign up before May 13th at https://apps.howardcountymd.gov/otestimony/. Written testimony can be emailed to councilmail@howardcountymd.gov.
 
PTSA SEEKING 2019-2020 BOARD CANDIDATES, VOLUNTEERS, etc...
Do you want to make an impact at OMHS next year?  Please consider becoming active in the PTSA.  We are seeking candidates for our board for next year and think that you might have some great ideas for our school. LET'S CELEBRATE OUR VOLUNTEERS
We will be honoring our great OMHS PTSA volunteers for all that they have accomplished this year.  The event will be 13 June at 7 pm at Grotto Pizza 7075 Minstrel Way. All members and guests are welcome; pizza and snacks will be provided by the PTSA. A short general meeting will also be conducted.
