PRE-PROM NAILS & FACIALS to BENEFIT AFTER PROM
The Face Place Spa
Print and bring the flyer for your nails and facials and The Face Place Spa will donate 10% to PTSA. Recommending facials at least 2 weeks before prom and get on the books for your nails to make sure you can get in with a nail specialist 2-3 days maximum pre-prom. Parents and friends come anytime before April 30th. Let’s make it a spa day!

FREE DOCUMENTARY SCREENING & PANEL - ANXIETY IN YOUTH  
- Last 2 screenings are this week:
- 6:30 pm - Tuesday, April 9 - Glenelg HS & Wednesday, April 10 - Mt. Hebron HS

Parents and guardians are invited to a free documentary screening and panel discussion around anxiety in youth. This 55-minute film features candid interviews with children and young adults who struggle, or have struggled, with anxiety —including Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps. This film explores the causes, symptoms, and effects of anxiety and stress, and encourages youth and their families to seek help. Middle and high school students are invited to attend with a parent or guardian. Each film screening will be followed by a discussion with local experts. AFTER PROM REGISTRATION is OPEN - Sign up now & $AVE
PTSA is hosting the AFTER PROM party at a new venue,  Columbia’s new MAIN EVENT on April 28 12am - 3am. Go to https://sites.google.com/view/omhs-ptsa-afterprom/home for information & registration.  Admission for the first 200 students to sign up is $10.  After #200, the cost of admission becomes $45. Register early & SAVE!

MARYLAND PTA SCHOLARSHIPS
The Maryland PTA Scholarship Committee offers scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to an HS senior who plans to pursue a career in education in Maryland schools. There are no restrictions placed on the selection of the college or university.
Application Deadline: 4:30 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2019.
