  • Juniors and Seniors: Salisbury University will be in the Counseling Center tomorrow at 10:45am. If you are interested, sign up through Naviance.
  • The Class of 2018 will be holding a homecoming meeting right after school TODAY in Ms. Kaufmann's room (601).
  • Want some new spirit wear? Did you miss out on purchasing something at the new student orientation or back to school night? Well you are in luck. Spirit wear will be on sale at the football game this Friday night until the end to the 3rd quarter. Stop by and see us!
  • Allied Soccer is looking for peers and players. If you are interested please see Ms. S in room 503 after school Thursday or Friday this week for paperwork. Games start next week so hurry in to get your forms!
  • Attention Oakland Mills!  Do you like math?  Do you like solving problems?  Do you like milk and cookies?  If you answered yes to any of those questions, then the Math Team may be for you!  Please stop by Ms. Gulotta's room, room 604, today after school for our first practice.
  • Attention Spirit Club: Reminder to meet in Mr. Berry's room before school on Thursday to help pass out fliers.
  • Ladies and Gentlemen:  Auditions for the fall play, THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, will be held next Tuesday, September 8th from 2:30-4:00pm in the theatre. Sign up for an audition block next to the theatre display case beside Mr. Barker’s classroom.  Monologues are encouraged, but not necessary, and everyone will read from the script. Sample pages will be available. See the theatre boards for more info.
  • The club Los Escorpiones Latinos will start meeting every Thursday, starting on October 8th. Please stop by Ms. Alonso's office if you are interested in being part of the club committee.
  • Do you know stuff? Do you want to be on TV? Then join the Oakland Mills It's Academic Team, which meets Mondays after school in room 807.
  • Attention Students! The first BE THE CHANGE meeting of the school year will be held this Friday in room 209 at 2:20pm. Whether you participated in Challenge Day or not all are welcome to attend!
  • The Oakland Mills school newspaper is looking for a new logo! If you are an artist interested in creating a concept drawing that could be produced and used in our online school newspaper, then visit Ms. White in Room 211 before or after school. Drawings must be submitted by Monday, September 7th.
  • Students, if you would like to come to the Guidance Office during your lunch time you will need to have a lunch pass. Please be sure to get a lunch pass before the beginning of 4th period from the Guidance Office.
  • Today for lunch we are having teriyaki chicken flatbread, hamburger, cheeseburger or chicken patty.
