The 2021-2022 FAFSA opens up in less than a month!
Try to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) early, as this can greatly impact the amount of federal financial you receive. Your state also provides financial aid from your FAFSA. Everyone should complete and submit the FAFSA!
The application opens October 1, 2020. The state deadline to submit the FAFSA is March 1, 2021. The federal deadline to submit the FAFSA is June 30, 2021.
What can I do now before the application opens?
Create a FSA ID! The FSA ID is a username and password that allows you to electronically submit and sign your FAFSA form.
