Panera for After Prom

Thank you to everyone who dined-in & carried-out from Panera for After Prom!


Budget Meeting

On Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. a special budget meeting to present information on this year’s educational budget items will be held, location TBD.   


OMHS Food Pantry

Certain items for the next drive (1/31) are very limited. We are once again collecting specific items for the pantry. The OMHS Food Pantry is open to the entire community. Thank you so much for your generosity. We'll continue to collect food the following items:

  • Non-perishables
  • Yellow Rice; Pasta and Sauce; Fruit Cups; Applesauce; Peanut Butter; Jelly; Pudding
  • Diapers
  • Baby Wipes

Drop off items at The Other Barn (5851 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia) during regular business hours 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(Closed Sunday)


Greg's Driving School at OMHS

Take driver's ed AT OMHS with Greg's Driving School to benefit OMHS. Classes still have openings. Go to http://www.gregsdrivingschool.net/ and register for a class at OMHS -FOR- OMHS.

HC DrugFree News

Teen Advisory Council Meetings: HC DrugFree’s Teen Advisory Council (TAC) meets one Monday evening a month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Barn/Teen Center in the Oakland Mills Village Center and is open to all Howard County high school students. Community service hours are available for all meetings and events. TAC will next meet on Monday, February 11. To register, please visit www.hcdrugfree.org and go to the Teen Advisory Council page. HC DrugFree follows the HCPSS weather cancellation policies. Refreshments provided at meetings, so you must RSVP to Admin@hcdrugfree.org or call 443-325-0040.

Howard County Educator’s Association (HCEA) is sponsoring a rally in Annapolis on March 11th to request support for more funding of public education in Howard County.  Buses will be leaving from designated high schools between 3p.m. and 4p.m. and will return by 8:30 p.m.  Riding the buses is recommended as parking is limited.  More information will be forthcoming.


After Prom - April 27/28 at Main Event 12am - 3am
