OMHS Food Pantry

Certain items for the next drive (1/31) are very limited. We are once again collecting specific items for the pantry. The OMHS Food Pantry is open to the entire community. Thank you so much for your generosity. We'll continue to collect the following items:

  • Non-perishables
  • Yellow Rice; Pasta and Sauce; Fruit Cups; Applesauce; Peanut Butter; Jelly; Pudding
  • Diapers
  • Baby Wipes

Drop off items at The Other Barn (5851 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia) during regular business hours which are between 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Closed Sunday).


Panera for (After)Prom - January 14 6-9pm

No flier is needed!  Please spread the word & dine-in/order-online/take-out to support After Prom!

HC DrugFree News

New Dates! Teen Advisory Council Meetings: HC DrugFree’s Teen Advisory Council (TAC) meets one Monday evening a month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Barn/Teen Center in the Oakland Mills Village Center and is open to all Howard County high school students. Community service hours are available for all meetings and events. TAC will meet on Mondays, January 14 and February 11. To register, please visit www.hcdrugfree.org and go to the Teen Advisory Council page. HC DrugFree follows the HCPSS weather cancellation policies. Refreshments provided at meetings, so must RSVP to Admin@hcdrugfree.org or call 443-325-0040.

Free Parenting Classes for Parents of 9-14 Year Olds: HC DrugFree and the Howard County State's Attorney's Office will once again partner to provide free evidence-based parenting classes for parents of 9-14 year olds. This 4-week series will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, March 5, 12, 19 and 26 in the Elkridge Library. Parents are expected to attend all 4 sessions.
