What is Allied Softball?

The Allied Sports Program was designed to provide students with disabilities an opportunity to be part of a sports team and participate in an athletic setting. However, the program also accepts individuals without disabilities. Each sport is co-ed and has modified rules and regulations to accommodate all individuals. The Allied Sports Program gives students with various athletic abilities an opportunity to participate in sporting events. It will give students with and without disabilities a chance to develop friendships and an understanding of the value of teamwork. This program will hopefully also help our students to develop into more mature and accepting individuals. We offer three sports at OM: soccer, bowling, and softball.
