Homecoming Dance

Homecoming Dance Tickets: 

Tickets for the Homecoming Dance (10/9) will go on sale starting Thursday, 9/30, and will cost $20. We will have a capacity limit for the dance, so don’t delay in buying your ticket! 

Tickets will be on sale ONLINE from Thursday 9/30 through Thursday, 10/7.  

• Online ticket sales must include a student name and guest name (if applicable) for each ticket purchased in the “Description” and “Purchase notes” field. 
• Family File must be completed before online purchase will be honored and redeemed for a ticket. 
• Online purchase does not guarantee admission to the dance if the requirements listed above are not met.  

Online purchases can be redeemed for a ticket starting Friday, 10/1. Bring a copy of your purchase receipt to Mrs. Florida in the Media Center before or after school or come to the in-person ticket sales table during lunch during Spirit Week. 

Tickets will be on sale IN-PERSON from Wednesday, 10/6 – Friday, 10/8 during lunches, in the cafeteria. Cash and check will be accepted at in-person ticket sales. If your Family File is not complete, you will not be able to purchase a ticket.
 

Dance Guests from Other Schools: 

Non-OMHS students may be approved to attend our dance. The outside guest form must be completed and turned in by Friday, 10/1. Forms are available in the Front Office or Media Center, or by clicking here.   

* At this time, we cannot guarantee tickets for outside guests, as we have an event cap on ticket sales. OMHS students will be prioritized, followed by guests of 12th grade students. * 

Announcements will be made at school and via Canvas regarding the sale of guest tickets next week. 

 

Spirit Week

Monday, 10/4: PJ Day  

Tuesday, 10/5: Tropical Tuesday 

Wednesday, 10/6: “On Wednesdays We Wear Pink” – Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we’re going to kick off every Wednesday of the month decked out in pink. 

• Wednesday night will also be our Junior v. Senior Powderpuff Football game! OMHS Stadium @ 7pm - $2 admission fee. 

Thursday, 10/7: Character Day – Our theme this year is Motion Pictures, so pick a favorite character from TV or Film to cosplay 

Friday, 10/8: Class Color Day – Freshmen wear grey; Sophomores wear orange; Juniors wear black; Seniors wear white. 

• Pre-game Carnival 4pm – 6pm – OMHS Parking Lot 
  • **If your organization would like to sponsor a table game or other activity at our carnival, please contact Katie Florida at katherine_florida@hcpss.org.
• Homecoming Game at 7pm 

  • Important Information for the Game:

    • Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who will remain for the entire game. 
    • Masks are not required outdoors; however, they are recommended for unvaccinated individuals.
    • Once a spectator leaves the event, they will not be able to re-enter the stadium.
    • No bookbags, large purses, food, and/or drinks will be allowed inside. We will have concessions at the game. We will not allow students to bring backpacks into the stadium. If you arrive with a bag, you will need to leave it at the gate and pick it up at the end of the night (we are not responsible for these items).

Saturday, 10/9: Homecoming Dance – 7 – 10pm – tickets will be $20 

• Tickets will go on sale prior to Homecoming week. See above for more information on price, sale dates, and other dance guidelines, but one thing is sure - you can't go to the dance unless your Family File is updated and complete this year, take care of that detail now! 
• Any adults interested in chaperoning the Homecoming Dance would be our Homecoming heroes! If you’re available and willing the evening of the 9th, please use this form to sign up as a volunteer.
