  • The Drone Club will not be meeting this week. Club activities will resume on Wednesday, February 19th.

  • The Merit Cart, containing gift cards, electronics and much more will be open today during all 4 lunch shifts. Your Scorp Merits can be used to purchase any items available on the Merit cart. Please bring your Merits to lunch and remind teachers to give them out for your respectful, responsible and ready behavior.

  • Are you HUNGRY????  The sophomore class is holding a Chick Fil A fundraiser on TODAY, February 10 from 5-9pm at the Dobbin Road Chick Fil A. Come support the Class of 2022 and show your in-hand flyer when you order. Flyers can be found in Ms. Powell’s and Ms. Magrin’s rooms, rooms 410 and 307, and will be distributed at the end of the day on Monday.

  • Attention all boys interested in playing Lacrosse this spring: Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11 there will be an informational meeting immediately after school in the cafeteria.  Attendance is required so make arrangements to be able to attend. See Coach Riss if you have any questions.

  • There is a BSU meeting Wednesday, Feb. 12, after school from 2:30 to 3:15pm in the choir room.

  • Show your appreciation for a friend or loved one by purchasing a Valentine’s Day Candygram for them. Candygrams will be sold during all lunch shifts starting today February 10th through Thursday, February 13, and will be distributed during 5th and 6th periods on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14. You may choose between a $1, $3 or $5 candy package to be delivered with a personalized note. See the flyers in the hallway, on the Class of 2022 bulletin board, or the Candygram table during all lunch shifts on Monday through Thursday for more information.

  • Oakland Mills Robotics will host 36 teams this Sunday, February 16 in the First Robotics Howard County Qualifier. Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:15 in the main gym. The event is FREE to the public and all are invited to attend. Come out, support your OM robotics Team and see what First Robotics is all about. Ignite the Nerd within you. 

  • Do you need service hours? The OMHS Robotics Team is hosting a large competition on Sunday, February 16th. We are looking for volunteers to help out on Saturday for set up and Sunday throughout the day. Half day volunteering is available, too.  Please see Mrs. Goodman in room 704 for more information.

  • Attention Seniors: Are you interested in speaking at your graduation or the senior awards ceremony? If so, please prepare a speech that centers around our school mission statement.
