The Varsity Wrestling Team started off their season with a bang beating Howard 58 to 18. Then they won a nail-biter against Reservoir 37 to 36. The Scorpions were powered by double pins by Joe Clark, Idaho and Brighten Barker. Adding pins were Orlando Castelan-Cortez, Lavante Kama, Jayden Bush and Raul Rodrigez. Getting big wins were Michael Cowen, Trinity Butler and Diego Gambrill. The Girls Varsity Team showed the county why they are best in the league last night. Getting victories from Merlin Lopez, Izzy Shooter, Trinity Butler, Francheska Bonilla, Paige Andrews, Emily Ozoemela and Kiera Seguin. The JV Wrestling Team swept both teams also. They were led by outstanding performances by Daniel Chon, Raul Maldenado and Trinity Butler.

All students who are participating in the Soft Skills Seminar on Thursday should report to the Library IMMEDIATELY after 4th period. Do not go to your 5th period classes.
Winter Makeup Testing will begin Thursday, December 7th and run through Thursday, December 21st. Students who did not take the tests for English 10, Algebra 1, American Government or MISA Biology last spring will be required to test. Students who will be testing will be given a pass the day before. Testing will begin at 8:00 am in the cafeteria. You will need to bring your FULLY charged Chromebook to school on testing days.
Students, your family file/emergency card must be updated by a parent/guardian every year. No updated family file means no field trips and no prom tickets. Printed directions can be picked up in the front office.

The Scorpion Success Program is being moved to the Media Center. Please join us every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:45-4:15. Same supports, same transportation, same time and same snacks just in a different location. The Scorpion Success Program is fully operational with transportation, snacks and everything you need to be successful. Teachers and student tutors will be available to help you with all your academic needs. Don't put it off and get it done before you leave the building. The bus will leave promptly at 4:15 making 5 stops in the areas you need.
To support the merit cart, Mrs. Urszuy will be selling snacks after school in room 808. Come support the merit cart and buy some chips and chocolate.
Any girls playing a winter sport that need a girls locker room locker should see Ms. Grandfield in room 705. Any girls who played a fall sport and are not doing a winter sport, please return your lock to Ms. Grandfield in room 705 by Friday, December 8th.
