New Student Orientation

9:00 - 11:00am

• Who: Rising 9th Graders and Students NEW to Oakland Mills and their Families
• Where: OMHS Auditorium, park in the student/staff parking lot and enter by the Gym/Auditorium
• What: Students and Families will join OM Administrators, Teachers/Staff, and Student Volunteers for an OM Welcome; Students will walk their schedules and meet their teachers; Families will hear from school staff and parents

Community Day

11:00am - 1:00pm

• Who: OM Community
• Where: Outside the Main Entrance; OM Cafeteria, Media Center, School
• What:  An opportunity to build community and welcome our New Scorpions!
  • Talk with school staff, students, athletics, involved parents;
  • Visit with vendors and community organizations;
  • Check out OM Gear;
  • Listen to Student Performers; 
  • FoodTrucks available
