The Merit cart, containing gift cards, electronics and much more will be open on Monday during all 4 lunch shifts. Your Scorp Merits can be used to purchase any items available on the Merit cart. Please bring your Merits to lunch and remind teachers to give them out for your respectful, responsible and ready behavior.
Attention Delta Scholars and Alpha Achievers: are you planning on attending the Busch Gardens trip in April? Make sure you are doing your part with the fundraiser to help lower the cost. More sales = lower bus and admission ticket prices. Not attending the trip? Consider helping out your group members by participating with the fundraiser sales. The sophomore class is holding a Chick Fil A fundraiser on Monday, February 10 from 5-9pm at the Dobbin Road Chick Fil A. Come support the Class of 2022 and show your in-hand flyer when you order. Flyers can be found in Ms. Powell’s and Ms. Magrin’s rooms, rooms 410 and 307, and will be distributed at the end of the day on Monday.
Attention all boys interested in playing Lacrosse this spring. On Tuesday, February 11 there will be an informational meeting immediately after school in the cafeteria. Attendance is required so make arrangements to be able to attend. See coach Riss if you have any questions.
Do you need service hours? The OMHS Robotics Team is hosting a large competition on Sunday, February 16th. We are looking for volunteers to help out on Saturday for set up and Sunday throughout the day. Half day volunteering is available, too. Please see Mrs. Goodman in room 704 for more information.
Show your appreciation for a friend or loved one by purchasing a Valentine’s Day Candygram for them. Candygrams will be sold during all lunch shifts from Monday, February 10 to Thursday, February 13, and will be distributed during 5th and 6th periods on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14. You may choose between a $1, $3 or $5 candy package to be delivered with a personalized note. See the flyers in the hallway, on the Class of 2022 bulletin board, or the Candygram table during all lunch shifts on Monday through Thursday for more information.
Craving a pick-me-up in the morning? Want some delicious coffee? Donuts? Then stop by the Hut outside the gym EVERY Monday and Wednesday morning. The Daily Grind shop will be selling donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate before school. And NEW this year- stop by the Hut AFTER school to grab yourself some pizza, chips, and soda. Attention Seniors: Are you interested in speaking at your graduation or the senior awards ceremony? If so, please prepare a speech that centers around our school mission statement.
