  • ATTENTION STUDENTS: The “It’s Academic” quiz bowl team practice for today is canceled. Practice will be held as normal next week. Again, “It’s Academic” practice is canceled today.

  • Congratulations to our Varsity Field Hockey team in their 7-0 victory against Pikesville, yesterday!  Kenzie Minarcin led the way with 5 goals & 1 assist. Megan Gunther & Mackenzie Thompson got in on the action with a goal a piece & Pun Rah-tah-nye-pie-toon had an assist! The final games of the season are Thursday against Lansdowne.  Good luck!

  • Allied Soccer defeated reservoir yesterday 4-2. Great defense and goal keeping by David Smith and Christopher McCrea! Way to go Scorps!

  • Juniors-- if you need a calculator for the PSAT, please see your math or science  teacher to sign out a calculator on Today, Oct 15, the day before the test!  

  • Are you interested in Running Indoor Track? There will be a mandatory interest meeting TODAY, 10/15 in room 507 directly after school. Please see Coach Brewington or Coach Gonzales for more details.

  • Scorpion Success will begin TODAY, October 15th. Applications are available NOW and can be found in the front office, student services,  Mrs. Urszuy's room (808), from your PE or health teacher or on the OMHS website. We will be meeting on Tuesday in the Cafeteria at 2:20. Get your forms in As Soon as Possible. Can't wait to see you there.

  • The Drone Club will meet in Mr. Yarn's room, room 407 after school TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 16th.  Come and learn how to design, build and fly drones.

  • Students and staff, Tomorrow is the last day you can purchase candles and other household items to arrive on time for potential gift for the Fall or Holiday season. The OMHS Journalism staff has got you covered with they’re Yankee Candle fundraiser, which supports new editions of The Scroll. If you’d like to buy satisfying scents for you, your friends, or your family, purchase a candle and help support The Scroll! For more information, see any of the Journalism students or Ms. Moore in Room 211.

  • Staff and Students: Don’t feel like cooking after a long weekend?  Well, you are invited to attend Spirit Night for the Class of 2021 at Panera Bread on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 5-9pm at the Dobbin Road location.  20% of our fundraising sales will go back to the Class of 2021 to help us raise funds for this years Prom.  So, the more people who purchase dinner, the more money we will earn.  You must show our flyer or mention OMHS for your purchase to be applied to our fundraiser.  You can also take a picture of the flyer with your phone and show the cashier.  Flyers can be found on the 2021 information board located by the front office and in the front office.

  • Interested in becoming a lawyer? Love watching Law & Order? The Mock Trial Club is a competitive team that allows you to practice your debate skills in a courtroom setting and looks great on college resumes! If interested, come to Room 212 on Thursdays or speak with Mr. Williams.

  • Are you a current 10th grader and interested in seeing what ARL is like? Are you interested in Automotive, Construction, Biotechnology, Veterinary/Agriculture, HVAC to name a few? You will have the opportunity to shadow at the Applications and Research Lab (ARL). There are two dates available November 20th and November 21st. You can get your permission slip from Mrs. DeMasi in Student Services. You will need to get it signed and returned to Mrs. DeMasi by Friday, November 8th.

  • Want to learn how the Career and Technology Education Career Academies provide high school students with opportunities to earn college credit, scholarships, and industry certifications, participate in worksite and mentorship experiences, and participate in hands-on project based learning?  Courses of study include Arts, Media and Communication, Construction and Development, Hospitality and Tourism, Environmental, Health and Biosciences, Human Resources Services, Information Technology, and Manufacturing, to name a few. There are two dates available, November 13th and December 10th.  Please see Mrs. DeMasi in Student Services or your guidance counselor for more information.
