  • Attention Students: The Gaming and Anime clubs will NOT be meeting this week.

  • All students interested in wrestling: If you could not attend the wrestling interest meeting last week, please see Coach Howell during the day TODAY in room 505.

  • The Afro-Caribbean Culture Club will meet after school TOMORROW, October 22 in room 102. Bring your signed forms and be ready to dance.

  • The Merit cart, containing gift cards, electronics and much more will be open TODAY during the 4 lunch shifts. All items can be purchased using Scorp Merits. Please bring your Merits to lunch and remind teachers to give them out for respectful, responsible and ready behavior.

  • There will be an NHS meeting Wednesday, October 23 during Scorp Time in the auditorium. For HCC students, there is a make-up meeting during 6th period in Mrs. Mauriello's room 602.

  • Staff and Students: Don’t feel like cooking after a long weekend?  Well, you are invited to join the Class of 2021 for Spirit Night at Panera Bread on Tonight, October 21, 2019 from 5-9pm at the Dobbin Road location.  20% of our fundraising sales will go back to the Class of 2021 to help us raise funds for this years Prom.  So, the more people who purchase dinner, the more money we will earn.  You must show our flyer or mention OMHS for your purchase to be applied to our fundraiser.  You can also take a picture of the flyer with your phone and show the cashier.  Flyers can be found on the 2021 information board located by the front office and in the front office.

  • Attention Students: Any student in need of service learning hours and is available October 25th should see Mr. Quinn in Student Services as soon as possible. Please think about bringing a friend!

  • Attention Dual Enrollment Students! The deadline for HCC registration is Thursday, October 31. If you are taking a CC class and would like to receive college credit, you MUST register by October 31. Rebecca Morrow will be in Student Services every Wednesday to assist and answer questions. Also, the registration forms are available in Spanish for students and families who may want them. Please sign up in Student Services if you need assistance registering or if you would like copies the forms in Spanish. 

  • Are you a current 10th grader and interested in seeing what ARL is like? Are you interested in Automotive, Construction, Biotechnology, Veterinary/Agriculture, HVAC to name a few? You will have the opportunity to shadow at the Applications and Research Lab (ARL). There are two dates available November 20th and November 21st. You can get your permission slip from Mrs. DeMasi in Student Services. You will need to get it signed and returned to Mrs. DeMasi by Friday, November 8th.

  • Want to learn how the Career and Technology Education Career Academies provide high school students with opportunities to earn college credit, scholarships, and industry certifications, participate in worksite and mentorship experiences, and participate in hands-on project based learning?  Courses of study include Arts, Media and Communication, Construction and Development, Hospitality and Tourism, Environmental, Health and Biosciences, Human Resources Services, Information Technology, and Manufacturing, to name a few. There are two dates available, November 13th and December 10th.  Please see Mrs. DeMasi in Student Services or your guidance counselor for more information.
