  • Is your Family File completed?  If not, you will not be able to participate in school activities such as homecoming and field trips.  If needed, pick up printed directions in the front office.

  • TODAY is the last day to take last year's final exams.  Please make arrangements to take your exams with your teachers.  Any remaining Z grades will automatically turn to E grades after that date. 

  • The Gaming and Anime Clubs will not be meeting this week.

  • Join the OMHS Cheerleaders at Chipotle on Monday, September 16th anytime between 5PM - 9PM for dine-in or carry out! Just show our flyer and you are on your way to help our program raise funds for equipment and activities this year!  Flyers can be picked up in the front office.

  • The Merit Cart, containing gift cards, electronics and much more will be open today during the 4 lunch shifts. All items can be purchased using Scorp Merits. Please bring your Merits to lunch and remind teachers to give them out for respectful, responsible and ready behavior. Looking ahead: PBIS will be raffling off Homecoming tickets on Friday, October 4th. Don't forget your merits and remind teachers to give them out, increasing your chances at winning.

  • Ladies who are interested in applying for the 2019-2020 Delta Scholar Program, please come to the cafeteria tomorrow, September 17 after school to receive instructions on applying. Only young ladies who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a 3.0 GPA or better are eligible to apply.

  • The Delta Scholar Advisory Board will be selling Freezee pops after school tommorow, September 17 from 2:15-3:00. All freeze pops will be $1.00 and popsicle stands will be at the front door and gym doors.

  • Attention NHS members: Our first meeting of the year is this Wednesday, September 18 during Scorp Time in the auditorium. Be sure to get a pass from Ms. T or Mrs. Mauriello BEFORE the meeting.

  • OMHS is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month throughout the month of September. We are kicking off this celebration with a door decorating challenge and judging contest on September 18th, a film screening on the 19th, and a guest speaker on the 20th.  Students to participate in the door decorating contest, please speak to your 3rdperiod teacher on how to choose a theme, person, event our country with Hispanic roots that your class wants to highlight. Influencers who have made history in the past and those who are currently making history should be emphasized. Doors must be ready for voting after school on Wednesday, September 18.   • Attention NHS Candidates: The Student Activity Information Form is due this Friday, September 20 by 3:00pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.

  • The flu clinic is coming to OM – Friday, October 25th.  Consent forms were given out during 3rd period.  If you want the flu vaccine, please have your parents complete the consent form and return it to the Nurses office no later than Monday, September 23rd.  Additional consent forms are available in the front office and in the nurse's office. 

  • Hey OM SOPHOMORES! Come out to hallway decorating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:20 to 3:30pm in room 410, Ms. Powell's room. Work together with friends on decorating your hallway! We hope to see you there!

  • Juniors and Seniors: the annual Homecoming PowderPuff game is almost here! Please look for an important announcement about sign-ups in Canvas or talk to Mrs. Florida in the Media Center. Sign up will be done via Canvas and will go live next week. Watch for info and be prepared!
