Homecoming 2019

Our most spirited week is right around the corner, so get excited for all of these wonderful activities! There are lots of activities to enjoy. 

**All costumes for Spirit Days must be school-appropriate and may not include toy weaponry or props that are large and disruptive to instruction.**

Friday, 9/27/19 - Pajama Day - Wear your coziest pajamas.

  • Senior Class Sunrise Breakfast - 6:30-7:10am in the back parking lot.

Tuesday, 10/1/19 - Dynamic Duo Day - Find a friend and collaborate to dress as an inseparable pair.

Wednesday, 10/2/19 - Wacky Tacky Day - Pull out your craziest clothes and accessories!

  • Junior vs. Senior Powderpuff Game, 7:00pm, OMHS Stadium, $2 admission
    • Students may sign up to play in the game beginning on 9/18/19 at 9:15am via Canvas. Registration information has been sent via Canvas. The first 20 registrants for each grade will be notified that they are on the roster.

Thursday, 10/3/19 - Character Day - Dress as a fictional character, famous person from history, or a popular meme.

  • Hallway decorating day. Student teams will be working from 3:00-10:30pm at school staff discretion.

Friday, 10/4/19 - Class Color Day - Seniors wear white, Juniors wear black, Sophomores wear orange, Freshmen wear grey. 

  • Hallways on display 7:00-7:20am in the main hallway
  • Pep Rally at the end of the school day

Friday, 10/4/19 - Homecoming Pre-Game Festival - 5:00-7:00pm, OMHS Back Parking Lot

  • Come join us for music, games, snacks, and a reunion with the OM community and school alumni.

Friday, 10/4/19 - Homecoming Game vs. Long Reach - 7:00pm

Saturday, 10/5/19 - Homecoming Dance, 7:00-10:00pm, OMHS Gym

  • Tickets for the Homecoming Dance will be $15 and on sale during lunches during Homecoming Week.
  • Students wanting to bring an outside guest to the dance need to pick up a Guest Request Form from the front office to complete and return by 9/26/19.
  • Doors close and no students will be admitted after 8:00pm. Students need to be picked up promptly at 10:00pm.
