  • The SAT word of the day is bureaucracy. Bureaucracy is a noun meaning administrative framework or organization. The power of the monarchy grew because the king cultivated an efficient and loyal bureaucracy of civil servants whose livelihood depended on the crown.

  • Last night the Scorpion wrestling team dominated Centennial 55 to 15 and were lead by big wins from Johnny Rynn and Solomon Barnes and a pin from Kyle Farace. The JV team also crushed Centennial 55 to 21 and was lead by a quick pin by Kyle Helinger and a big over time win by Rocco Delpo. Great job wrestlers!

  • Bring your spare change with you to lunch tomorrow to help raise funds to bring back Challenge Day! Bring the change, be the change!

  • Do you want to see the REAL snow dance? Come to the Winter Dance Concert! The show will be held in the OMHS Auditorium on Saturday, December 12th. The matinee show will begin at 2pm and the evening show will begin at 7pm. Tickets will be on sale for $5 at the door only so be sure to get there early to secure your seat! No one will be allowed to enter 15 minutes after show time. Don't miss this amazing show! 

  • Do you like to write and want to hone your skills and bounce ideas off of like minded people in a safe, supportive environment? If so, please join the writing club. See Ms. Smith in room 410. It is not too late to join.

  • Staff and students, would you like to feel calmer, experience less stress, and be more creative? Please join us for mindfulness in the mornings. See Ms. Smith in room 410. No experience is necessary. We encourage you to bring a friend. Teachers, bring a student or two.

  • Tomorrow is the last day to bring donations and help Stock the Socks! We are in need of small, fun items for girls and boys. Please bring donations to the Media Center, or follow the jingling of the bells outside of the Guidance Office by tomorrow morning. Thank you for helping make the holiday jolly!

  • Today for lunch we are having chicken patty, buffalo chicken or steak and cheese sub.
