  • The SAT word of the day is mishap. Mishap is a noun meaning evil accident; ill luck; misfortune; mischance. Because of a mishap incurred while painting his roof, Brian developed a fear of heights.

  • The red hot wrestling team dominated private school Calvert Hall last night taking 13 of the 14 match in route to a 67 to 6 victory.  Leading the way with pins where Daquane Anderson, Chase Williams, Kyle Farace, Johnny Rynn, Anthony Morales, Solomon Barnes, and Keven Rockwell.  Looking good wrestlers!

  • Do you want to see the REAL snow dance?  Come to the Winter Dance Concert!  The show will be held in the OMHS Auditorium on Saturday, December 12th.  The matinee show will begin at 2pm and the evening show will begin at 7pm.  Tickets will be on sale for $5 at the door only so be sure to get there early to secure your seat!  No one will be allowed to enter 15 minutes after show time.  Don't miss this amazing show! 

  • Do you like to write and want to hone your skills and bounce ideas off of like minded people in a safe, supportive environment?  If so, please join the writing club.  See Ms. Smith in room 410. It is not too late to join.

  • Staff and students, would you like to feel calmer, experience less stress, and be more creative? Please join us for mindfulness in the mornings. See Ms. Smith in room 410. No experience is necessary. We encourage you to bring a friend. Teachers, bring a student or two.

  • If you are a senior or junior under DACA, come to Guidance Center on Monday, December 14th, at 10:15 a.m. and find out important information and options for your education. You need to stop by Guidance today to get your pass.

  • Attention Delta Scholars:  There will be a Careers Interest Workshop on Tuesday, December 15th from 2:15-4:00 in the Media Center.  You are to dress appropriately along with your pins.  If you have any questions or concerns or you are unable to attend, please notify Ms. Smith so that you will be excused.  Look forward to seeing you!

  • The "Save the Administrator" fundraiser is back. DECA will be collecting donations for Toys 4 Tots all week during lunch shifts.  Donate money to a worthy cause, make a child's holiday memorable and save your favorite administrator all at the same time. Wallace, Schwartz, Galbreath and Cosentino....only one can be saved from getting a pie in the face at the Winter Pep Rally. All those who donate are eligible to be drawn to do some pie tossing at the Pep Rally.

  • Attention Spirit Club: we will be meeting today after school in Mr. Berry's room. All are welcome!

  • Remember Merit Cart Monday! Bring your merits to lunch on Monday!

  • It is time for this week's Family File winners!  This week we will have one winner for each grade.  For 9th grade the winner is Alec Ortmeyer; 10th grade, Melissa Johnson; 11th grade Gianni Henry and finally in 12th grade, Cole May.  Please come to the office to see Mr. Cosentino to claim your prize.   Prizes for updating your family file information will continue until we run out, so make sure you have your parent or guardian update your emergency information to be included in the drawing. 

  • Today for lunch we are having popcorn chicken, glazed ham and Swiss or chicken patty.
