National Honor Society

The mission of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of OMHS. All Juniors and Seniors with a cumulative 3.40 (weighted) GPA or higher are invited to apply to NHS at the beginning of each school year. Once inducted, NHS members are expected to participate in both individual and group service activities, uphold the four pillars of NHS, and attend all meetings.

Students who are considering applying to NHS will need to include service and leadership experiences in their application. If you need help finding service/leadership opportunities, please see Mrs. Mauriello or Ms. Trzesinski.
