At its Feb. 26 meeting, the Howard County Board of Education approved calendar adjustments to ensure the school system meets the State’s required days and hours, including the following:
Monday, April 6
- Previously Scheduled: Schools & offices closed
- Adjustment: Full day for students
Wednesday, April 15
- Previously Scheduled: Schools closed for students; Staff Professional Learning and Work Day
- Adjustment: Half-day for students with the standard 3-hour early dismissal; Half work day for staff
Thursday, May 14
- Previously Scheduled: Student early dismissal
- Adjustment: Full day for students
Thursday, June 11
- Previously Scheduled: Student early dismissal
- Adjustment: Full day for students
Friday, June 12
- Previously Scheduled: Student early dismissal
- Adjustment: Full day for students
Monday, June 15
- Previously Scheduled: Student early dismissal
- Adjustment: Full day for students; Last day for half-day pre-K/RECC
Tuesday, June 16
- Previously Scheduled: Inclement weather makeup day
