Oakland Mills is proud to announce the HCPSS partnership with Fidelity Direct Mortgage (FDM) to provide free financial literacy workshops open to all Howard County community members a few times throughout the school year.
Friday, October 10, 2025, at 6:00pm will be the start of our second-year hosting workshops. This session's discussion is “Understanding Banking”, including topics such as, the difference between a secure vs regular credit card, how to protect your personal information, and more.
FDM brings a robust group of experts from financial institutions to help answer your questions and make connections to support your financial planning. Additionally, they provide each session in both English and Spanish.
These workshops are open to all Howard County community members, students, and adults alike. We hope you will join us!
