NAME: Miss Utility Scholarship
Deadline: April 6, 2018
Award: $1008.11
Specific Focus: Applicants must be on track to graduate from a Maryland or Washington, D.C. high school in the Spring of 2018, intend to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or technical school beginning in fall 2018, and have participated in extracurricular activities. A rigorous application review process will consider grades in relevant coursework, a personal essay and letter of recommendation. (one LOR, no more than two, dated within one year of the application.)

NAME: Maryland House of Delegates, 12th District, Delegate Eric D. Ebersole
Deadline: April 2, 2018
Award: unspecified
Specific Focus: Scholarship is available for all high school students within District 12. If any student is considering college or trade school in the state of Maryland, this scholarship would apply to their tuition. If you are planning to attend an out-of-state school, to be eligible for our scholarship, you must enroll in an academic program that is not offered in Maryland.

NAME: OMHS PTSA Scholarship
Deadline: 9 a.m., March 29, 2018
Award: $500
Specific Focus: The Oakland Mills High School PTSA will award four scholarships to seniors who have shown a commitment to the Oakland Mills community. Two $500 scholarships will go to students planning to attend a four-year college, and two $500 scholarships to students planning to attend a community college or technical college. These scholarships were established in honor of Sue Ann Tabler and Frank Eastham, former principals of Oakland Mills High School. Applications for the PTSA scholarship are in the Guidance Office. Please see Ms. Hart for details. The application deadline is 9 a.m., March 29.

NAME: The Links, Inc. Scholarship
Deadline: March 31, 2018
Award: $2500
Specific Focus:The Columbia, Maryland Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is pleased to announce that it will award a Twenty-Five Hundred Dollar ($2,500.00) academic scholarship in the Spring of 2018 to a student who will attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
Two different scholarships will be awarded: 1) A student planning to attend a Historically Black College or University (4-year award for $2500 each year, for a total of $10,000).  2) A student planning to attend Howard Community College (2-years, $2500 a year, for a total of $5000.

NAME: Howard County Foundation for Black Education and Cultural Achievement, Inc
Deadline: March 15, 2018
Award: $1500
Specific Focus: Scholarship is available to African-American high school students within Howard County scheduled to graduate spring, 2018 with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
