The Howard County Police Department will be hosting a free, one week overnight Youth Police Academy, July 16th-21st at the Public Safety Training Center. It is for students between the ages of 15-18 years old who are interested in a law enforcement career. The Youth Police Academy replicates the actual Howard County Police Academy. This experience is designed to help students explore career and leadership opportunities, life skills, and character education. Students will participate in role playing, practical exercises and physical training. Deadline is April 28th.
