And now today’s question - In 1664, Maryland was the first state to pass a law banning this between blacks and whites, all the other states followed. In 1967, Richard Loving and Mildred Jeter broke the law in DC. When they returned home to Virginia, they were arrested, convicted, and each faced a year in jail. Hey OM! One round of auditions for the Spring Musical Revue has taken place but we have one more day for auditions this Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM. If you've ever thought it might be fun to perform on stage, or if you've ever wondered what it would be like to be part of the theater, this is your opportunity to try! No experience is necessary. Just bring a sense of fun and a willingness to learn and you, too, can be a part. For more information see Mr. Hale in the band area or see the notice next to the theater bulletin board. Remember, this Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM. Who knows, you may be a star in the making!

The 2A West Sectional Playoffs are this Friday, February 24th here at OM. The girls play Liberty at 5 PM, and the boys play Marriott’s Ridge at 7 PM. Admission for this double header is $6.
