Morning Announcements - Tuesday, December 22, 2015
Tue, 12/22/2015 - 8:20am
The SAT word of the day is autonomy. Autonomy is a noun meaning control over one's own person; the right of self-government, independence from outside governance. For all its talk about the need for greater independence from the national government, the province in fact already enjoyed unprecedented autonomy.
Still need to get something for that special someone but don't have a lot of money? Buy them a candy gram for only $1. It is delivered right to them with a personalized message and a candy cane. Junior class is selling them during lunch shifts today.
Do you like to write and want to hone your skills and bounce ideas off of like minded people in a safe, supportive environment? If so, please join the writing club. See Ms. Smith in room 410. It is not too late to join.
Staff and students, would you like to feel calmer, experience less stress, and be more creative? Please join us for mindfulness in the mornings. See Ms. Smith in room 410. No experience is necessary. We encourage you to bring a friend. Teachers, bring a student or two.
We have a lot of students who owe money to the cafeteria. Please take care of this debt before the winter break. We will mail letters home on 12/23. See Mrs. Holderman with questions.
Today for lunch we are having beef taco, popcorn chicken or chicken quesadilla.
