Reminder: Complete Your Family File Online

Parents/Guardians,

Beginning later this week we will begin sending reminder emails to every parent/guardian for each child that does not have a completed family file online. This must be done for every child every year. Parents/Guardians will continue to receive the reminder email until the form has been done online. If you need computer access, please contact Ms. Humphrey via email tamara_humphrey@hcpss.org or at 410-313-6945 to schedule a time to come in to use our computers.

HCPSS uses Family File for parents/guardians to complete emergency information. Parents/guardians must verify and/or update information for each child, and can do so by logging in to HCPSS Connect and selecting the Family File tab and then clicking on Family File.

Once logged in, parents/guardians will be asked to provide or update the following information:

  • Student information
  • Parent/guardian contact
  • Emergency contacts
  • Medical information
  • Arrival/dismissal procedures
  • Media release (photo approval)
  • Data confidentiality
  • PTA/PTSA directory

Changes of address may not be made through Family File. If you have recently moved, please contact our Guidance office at 410-313-6950 to make an appointment with our Registrar.

For students who are bus riders, please note that bus numbers and routes shown in Family File may be subject to change. Please check the school and bus locator on the HCPSS website.

Resources on how to access Family File may be found online. Parents who have forgotten their login credentials or are new to the system may click the “Forgot Password” link on the sign in page. If you need additional assistance, please fill out this Connect Help Form.
