This past Saturday, the Alpha Achievers of Oakland Mills High School celebrated their 20th anniversary. Held at the local Double Tree Hotel, Mr. James - founder and continuing sponsor - and the current members welcomed alumni of the group, as well as Councilman Calvin Ball, Board of Education member Mavis Ellis, and keynote speaker, WJZ anchorman Vic Carter.
