Message from Merriweather Post Pavilion: Commencement Parking

Uniformed parking attendants will be facilitating the parking for all HCPSS commencement ceremonies.  Please park as directed when arriving for the Graduations at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Note that prior to 5 PM, parking is not permitted in any parking garage on Little Patuxent Parkway, any parking garage on Broken Land Parkway, or any surface lot at the Mall. Parking attendants will direct guests to the surface lots and spaces that are available at the time of your scheduled ceremony. After 5 PM, parking attendants will continue to direct cars to all available lots and parking garages, with the exception of the MedStar parking garage (at the corner of Little Patuxent Parkway and Broken Land Parkway), which will open at 6 PM. Please follow the signs and direction of the parking attendants to make the event run as smoothly as possible. Lastly, follow the school directions related to arrival times and vacate the parking lots as quickly as possible.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Commencement Date Announced

OM's Class of 2017 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 1 at 8:00am at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Stay tuned for details on tickets, parking, and more.

 

HCPSS Employees Presenting Diplomas

Any Howard County Public School System employee who would like to present their child's diploma should email our graduation coordinator, Laurin Grubb (Laurin_Grubb@hcpss.org). Details will be distributed closer to the date of the commencement ceremony.

 

Caps & Gowns

Caps and gowns will be on sale during ALL lunch shifts on Tuesday, January 10th and Wednesday, January 11th. They can also be purchased online via the Jostens website:
